Scotland Noir: The Complete Story is the complete and authorised novelisation of the Scotland Noir series, containing novelisations of both short films, as well as the planned third, and bonus scenes and behind the scenes information.

I thought nothing could stop me, until Alpha that is.

When Private Investigator Jack Stolt, meets contract killer Alpha on a routine job to look out for a troubled young man, he just manages to escape with his life. But who was this mysterious hitman? Why was he interested in a young delinquent? And why did he come back?

The answers lead to a corporate conspiracy that Jack can’t ignore, and that he might be complicit in. And, at the centre of it all, is Alpha, the man who’s haunted him for five years.

This compendium contains novelisations of all three short films in the Scotland Noir series. The exciting adaptations contain additional scenes, deeper exploration of our main characters and an afterword exploring the behind the scenes story of the series.

Scotland Noir: The Complete Story is available on Amazon and Google Play.

Odyssey Productions

Odyssey Productions is a Scottish production company co-founded by Matthew Lyon and Rylie Morgan, with the aim of producing high quality, low budget short films for YouTube.

The company was founded in 2018, initially as a means to create a Doctor Who fan-series entitled 'Doctor Who Odyssey'. This project did not move past the script stage, but the name remains 5 years later.

Odyssey Production's first big hit came in 2019 with its debut short film, 'Scotland Noir', a comedy detective story surrounding a private investigator and a ruthless hitman. The success of 'Scotland Noir' led to the release of a sequel, 'Scotland Noir: Past Tense', this time more heavily inspired by classic noir films of the 40s and 50s.

The studio's latest short 'Ghosted' is now available to watch.
